We offer a full range of tree surgery services. From the pruning of the smallest Japanese Maple, using secateurs, to the felling of large Monterey Pines by use of crane and large chainsaws, no job is too large or too small. All operations are carried out to the highest industry standards BS3998-2010.  All staff are fully NPTC qualified with a wealth of practical experience.  This coupled with our use of the most up to date tree surgery techniques and equipment ensures that we deliver the most efficient and cost effective services to our customers.

Crown lifting

Crown lifting involves the lifting of the lower canopy to give a specified clearance from ground level to the lowest foliage, to allow either access below the canopy of to increase light levels to lawns and borders or property.

Felling

Felling or sectional felling of a tree is the last resort, and is only recommended if all other avenues have been exhausted.  This is carried out by experienced and fuly trained operatives. In the case of sectional felling we will use ropes and pulleys to safely sectional fell the tree to ground level.  Where it is possible and there is space we will direct fell the tree from ground level.

Crown reduction

Crown reduction is the reduction of the crown or parts of the crown in terms of height and spread.  Crown reduction is specified in metres and in its basic form is the shortening of the length of branches to appropriate redcution points to leave a balanced and aesthetically pleasing canopy.
